Over 130 dog's breeds were genetically identified by ANTAGENE.
More than 30 breed's clubs integrated in their grid quotations the
genetic identification.
Until the end of the 2008, the genetic identification and the DNA authentification will be integrated to the pedigrees.
The DNA test, a reliable and validated test
The genetic fingerprint consists in a panel of 22 genetic tracers defined by the ISAG (International Society for Animal Genetics) and validated in August 2006.
The genetic fingerprint is coded in letters form to check easily the prints compatibility between the parents and the puppies.
