Congenital Stationary Night Blindness (CNB) (OLD)



The  Congenital Stationary Night Blindness is an inherited disorder with various degrees of visual impairment under photonic illumination.
Vision in affected dogs' ranges from normal day vision to profound day blindness. On the European herding dogs, more than 11% of dogs are carrying this genetic disease.

The congenital stationary night blindness is inherited as an autosomal recessive trait in the Briard dog.
